MY REVIEW:A+++ SAUNA ROCKETI have used this Sauna Rocket almost every day for over a year.Everyone who likes a Steam Bath should buy this.The experience is as good as a gym steam room.I am on assignment currently and my rental home has a full steam room that takes forever to heat up, I prefer my Sauna Rocket, it heats up quicker and is much more energy efficient and is better located in the house, than the in house built in steam room which is located downstairs. I keep the sauna rocket in the master bedroom next to the bath.May – Coming up soon on a year and a half with my Sauna Rocket. I had hoped it would work it did A+++ and I hoped its would last one year it has now lasted almost 18 months. VERY PLEASED! A+++In the last year copy cats have come out, I will stay with my Sauna Rocket a fabulous product! —BEST GIFT I HAVE EVERY BOUGHT FOR MYSELF—TECKNICAL NOTES:* I use a small $5.00 surge protector that I change once per year just to be safe. (available on Amazon)* I also unplug the unit from the wall after every use, because my area has power surges.* To be more efficient with energy use we have a quilt blanket that we put over the whole unit, it is not necessary but I like the steam room to get extremely hot and we live in a cold area and this step saves energy .* using a small paint brush I lubricate the zipper ever few months with olive oil.* I have cold tile floors and so I use two bath towels on the floor of the steam room to insulate my feet from the cold tile floor beneath. This also removes 90%+ of the water, we change the towels with each use.* Leave the door half way over when not in use.* I lift up one end of the steam room tent to allow air circulation underneath when not in use, this Is really a requirement, using a small plastic cup works well.* I use two small lightweight plastic stools inside the steam tent. This is all I need and they are easy to remove.* We bought a small plastic temp dial on amazon $3 and a small battery operated red led light that we just have hanging inside the steam tent, both items are very small and lightweight, so no need to remove them.

Never realized owning a sauna could this affordable/easy!
Firstly, I really like the size of this tent. There are a few out there in the approximate size but the quality is lacking. Out of the box, you could tell its well made. Assembly was easy, everything was numbered and made sense. It doesnt look cheap like ones Ive seen. I like the Steamers how they have the glass lid with the slide lock. If any of you have experience with the ones with plastic lids , they cover what is essentially a pressure cooker…. Anyways, this was a good find, I was losing hope in finding a nice safe setup. It heats up pretty good too! The only hiccup was one of the Steamers was missing the little lock, but I got ahold of customer service and they had another one out right quick.

What a mess this has been!
Easy to put together and even though instructions are vague there were no problems. Once I got it running I was not able to achieve any temps above 98.7 in 70 degree ambient temperatures. It took 15 minutes to get steam.I went to the web site to chat with (owner, inventor, sole proprietor) and even though it said he would get back with me rapidly I received no response. 2nd day I tried again and then sent email as instructed. No response since last week. Did some looking around and the steam generator that comments said was 1600 watts was only 1300 watts on my device. I felt taken. Then I find newer device at 1700 watts…. Same company.I am returning the device partially from poor to NO performance. The web site of the (whom ever) sells them for 50 bucks cheaper today’s price $70 less than Amz. Replacement on it’s way from Amazon since no way I am going to deal with the guy that says he will fix everything and does not communicate back.Checking instructions, they say to use it at setting 1-9 but you could go higher on the dial. No way 9 is top settings available on this steam generator.OK being a trusting soul I got a replacement with these results.Review saunaStart temp 83.4 in sauna before generator started. 3 Thermometers concur.Set 45 mins @ 9Steam @ 11 minsTemp in enclosure after 25 mins 97.7 degrees.Somewhere I smell scam or something.

It’s $250 what do you expect!
The lunch box material was nicely sewn. Went together easily. Put in a bench and it works nicely. 115 degrees and steamy. All pro’sCons the steamer bucket is total junk.. It steams nice but the lid socks. I had to MacGyver the lid shut inorder together temp and steam up.Come on man!!! Make the lids work… how many generations of steam saunas do chinese manufactures have to go thru to make it shut tight and easy….People who complain about power. You have two streamers…. use two circuit breakers that can handle 20 amps… that solves some issues.Have used it hand full of times. I know that eventually it will fails. I’ll update when.

Great product
I rarely write reviews for products, just do the star thing but felt it incumbent upon me to do so. This is a great product for its limitations. Let me explain, this is not a commercial grade steamer. But its a great portable steamer that you can pretty much put anywhere. I wish it would get a little hotter but it will definitely make you feel uncomfortable (in the good way). A good steam should tax the body a little. And as an avid steamer, I can tolerate better than most. I do put it up to 9 (that’s all the way). I can stay in almost 30 minutes (typically in a commercial my max is 22 minutes). I wish it would generate a little more steam, I like it to be a fog inside but it does the job fairly well in that department too. Setup was easy but it is just wide enough to not fit through doorways so put it together where you want it, you’ll get less frustrated, trust me.Overall, this is more than I expected. It has allowed us to cancel our gym membership (d/t the pandemic the steam room continues to be off limits) and save a couple of hundred dollars a month. Hopefully this lasts for a long time, but the Owner of Sauna Rocket seems very welling to accommodate things that break. I definitely would be willing to try out more of their products if they continue to improve and innovate their product line. Mr Sauna Rocket, great product and let me know if you want a tester for your products:)

Safety and health benefits.
I’ve owned multiple portable steam saunas, and this is easily my favorite. The fact that I can be fully enclosed, along with it’s size, was the reason I purchased this item. It can be challenging when assembling alone (which I did), but other than that it’s fairly straight forward. The quality is really nice. I use a waterproof/resistant shower chair that I used with/in my previous steam saunas. It’s always a challenge when debating the potential VOC factor that is a concern among many, along with other materials used during the manufacturing process, but I believe the pros outweigh the cons. You can adjust the zipper to let in fresh air without losing too much steam, so keep that in mind, even if for an occasionally breath or two. I boil filtered water in the kettle then place in the steamer so it’s ready to go and the unit doesn’t have to work as hard to get up to steam. Be sure to have the hose in the proper position for optimal use. Remember, gravity is key. The one thing I would highly recommended is to keep a utility knife (I put in a Ziploc bag) inside with you at all times in the event the zipper would get stuck. The material is really strong, and it could lead to a potentially dangerous situation, though I’ve had no issues with the zippers. Still, I always keep it inside in case of emergency. I also put a towel on the floor prior to use for absorption. As for cleaning, it’s as simple as a fan to dry it out. When dried I guess peroxide could be applied, though I’m not sure it’s recommended. For parents and pet owners, especially those with cats, be mindful of their safety when the unit is in use, and also when not in use. Good steaming to all.

NOT A 3 PERSON SAUNA
I bought a 3 person sauna so me and my hubby could be comfortable amd can lay back. Unfortunately it say you can fit 3 people but I wouldn’t. 3 adults can get in it if you smash together. Other than it being small it worked well. I will give an update after we have used it a few times

Incredible Value!
I purchased this in October, 2020! It has moved with me 3 times. From CA to FL. I would conservatively say that it has been used at least 200 times PER YEAR since getting it. Think I got mine back when it was relatively new and have never regretted it. At least 900 uses of 15-20 min. Never a problem. Now, it does require a bit of maintenance but to be expected. The water, especially in CA has a lot of minerals so every few months I fill steamer with vinegar (cold) to work through that build up. I would say that in my 64 years, I have probably not gotten as much value out of anything. A quick math says about $0.30 per use – that’s what I call fully depreciated. They only reason I am writing a review 4+ years down the road is that I see they now sell twin steamers and I’m ready to replace my original with those. The cabinet and frame are still in very good condition with several takedown and setups.Does it get super hot? No, but plenty hot to make me sweat and appreciate the value of the steam. No regrets at all. Highly recommend, especially at the price point.

Absolutely loving it… plus ideas for improvement
Started with another brand, had to order two with first week since they kept breaking. Since switching to sauna rocket have been problem free with a much better experience. Heats up in about 15-20min to 100 degrees, have only been able to get it as high as 115 so far, but that’s been fine since I can only last about 15min in that temp. It’ll be interesting to see if I can get it higher. Alright feedback for improvements… (1) a detachable bottom for outdoor application would be great. That way I wouldn’t retain the moisture and it would go straight into the ground. (2) detachable front window from outside not inside. I’d like to peak in without losing steam so a window with Velcro from the outside would do the job. (3) steamers should have switchable hose outlet. Since there are two, I have to turn one backwards with the power cord facing the front now. Would look nice if both could face the front. (4) a perforated tube would disperse heat into the tent better than a single hole outlet. (5) using black fabric instead of gray would hide your black stitching better. Looks a little sloppy having black stitch marks around the tent is all.

Excellent value for the money!
I really wanted a sauna after my wife and I spent a weekend at a Nordic spa, but I didn’t want to buy something super expensive if we didn’t use it very much so I decided to get a portable sauna. I also wanted one that was big enough to be comfortable in because I’m a pretty big guy. This one was one of the only ones that says would seat three people. Now while technically you could put three in it. You would be pretty tight. But my wife and I sit in it pretty comfortably together and still have room. I also put a zero gravity chair in it and I can lay out almost horizontal and I’m 6 ft 3 and 250lbs.It was very easy to put together and both steamers get it pretty hot in there. My wife and I set a 20 minute timer and that is more than enough.It’s very relaxing and you feel great when you get out.The seller was very responsive with an issue I had and took care of me with no issues.A plus plus on customer satisfaction.Highly recommend. Would buy from them again. I have recommended this to multiple friends and my adult children.
